These terms cover your use of this website. They are short because the site is simple: everything here is free to read, there is nothing to buy, and there is no account to create.
What this site is
Rurivia publishes farm management writing. Every technical claim points to a source you can open and check yourself, and each piece carries the date it was last checked.
What we publish is management guidance: how to declare a standard, compare a record against it, notice a gap in time, and decide what to do about it. It is not agronomic advice. We do not tell you what to plant, what dose to apply, or how to treat an animal, and nothing here should be read as a recommendation to do any of those things.
No promise about your results
We do not promise profit, margin, yield, or any financial outcome from reading this site. What happens on a farm depends on weather, markets, and a hundred decisions that are yours and not ours. Anyone in this field who promises you a number is selling you something.
We work to keep what we publish accurate and to correct it when it is not, and we still cannot guarantee that every page is current or complete. Sources move, rules change, and a document we cited last year may say something else today. Check the dates on each article, which we publish for exactly this reason, and check the source before you act on anything that matters.
What you may do with what we publish
Read it, print it, and use it on your own farm without asking us. Quote it, as long as you say where it came from and link back. Send it to anyone you like.
What you may not do is republish our articles as your own work, in whole or in substantial part, or feed them into a product that reproduces them without attribution. The writing on this site is ours, and the point of it is that a reader can trace a claim back to where it came from. Stripping the attribution destroys the one thing that makes it worth reading.
If you want to translate or republish something in full, write to us. We are usually happy to say yes, and we would rather say yes than find out afterward.
Links to other sites
We link to the sources behind what we write. Those sites are not ours, we do not control what they publish, and a link is not an endorsement of anything else they say.
There is nothing to buy here yet
Today the site sells nothing and asks you to register for nothing. When that changes, terms covering accounts, payment, and refunds go up before the first thing is sold, not after. We are not writing them in advance to govern something that does not exist.
Your data
The Privacy Policy covers what we collect through the contact form, which is the only thing on this site that asks you for anything.
When these terms change
We change this page when the site changes, and the date below tells you when that last happened. Continuing to use the site after a change means the current version applies.
